about an lgbtqia+ fantasy webcomic that takes place in a dangerous world during a horrible time. PROMISE ME is a passion project by hux --- who has published a comic in the past.the story consists of 3 characters trying to get from point "A" to "B" so that revenge can be had --- but it explores important topics such as found family, recovering from trauma, navigating grief, and accepting happiness despite feeling like it is not deserved.this work and site are currently very much wips, so please be patient!!

POWERS 200+ years of wizarding experience. Nox has also looked at occuli not once but twice and survived. even after giving monocular jackdaw one of his eyes he is still able to see into other timelines/universes. the curse on his right arm that is taking over his body allows him to open up a black hole that he then uses to absorb whatever he wishes --- which allows him to consume powers and use them, himself.that same curse has essentially burned through nox's sol, which should have resulted in his death but he agreed to bond with the matchmaker soldo brightcreek --- and now the two of them share power, health, pain, and maybe much more.

POWERS dime's true form is one that most are not capable of comprehending: a giant whale whose ocean was space itself, an incredible hunter with a craving for other creatures known for consuming entire universes. made into something more person-shaped, dime is still capable of insane feats of strength and can shift his form at will. currently, he is able to transform into a beast larger than some buildings -- and his time training with the lab means he has a ton of combat experience. something of a wildcard, dime is difficult to control and harder to calm down as he does occasionally suffer from a more animalistic mindset.

biography Venators are essentially giant horror space orcas; they roam the cosmos in search of dying celestial bodies and their prey of choice: the Imbibers.Almost of the brink of extinction, one Venator was located and weakened so that its form could be changed into that of a small child. This was for the hopes of safe-keeping and so that its strength could be called on in many years to come.The wizard in charge of doing this great feat gave the horror-turned-child to a man — a scientist, and he told him everything. In several decades, this child would be needed to save not one world but all of them. The scientist was instructed to raise the child well, to make its strong, and to prepare it for the monumental task to come.At first, this scientist tried to remain somewhat distant, but as the child grew and started to gain a personality — as it started to idolize him and call him ‘father,’ things became complicated. Gavin Dyatlov, the scientist, would be the one to personally perform his son’s top surgery and welcome him to the world changed.This was the start of a terrible slope for Dime Dyatlov.Training started young and it was extensive, sometimes brutal. Dime was pit against countless people and eventually, monsters to strengthen up. Years passed with Dime doing his best, isolated in a laboratory in the freezing north. The more Dime grew, the more something terrible started to form within the man he considered a father. Fear. Namely, the fear of loss. As Dime trained hard for his purpose, Gavin started to try and find ways to avoid it.The first thing he required as some of his hair.
Then, blood.
Then, flesh.
And then … more.Experiments started — hopes to create a clone of the beast that Dime was to become. Gavin lost himself in this process, believing that once he saved the worlds he could make it all up to his son that he feared losing so much. Tanks in the lab started to fill with these attempts and with parts of Dime himself — eventually weakened and bedridden until there was nothing left to take.In his insanity, Gavin Dyatlov destroyed the thing he loved.
Dime’s death was a miserable, torturous, drawn-out thing.When the wizard stopped in to check on how things had been going — he used his powers again to restore Dime with the hopes of being able to fix what he’d neglected to keep an eye on. Dime returned to the world, unscarred physically, but the psychological damage was done.

POWERS soldo's lineage stretches back to when a unicorn godkin blessed the royal family ruling in khada with a child. this has given him an incredibly large magic pool which has allowed him to specialize in healing --- a passion instilled in him due to one of his adopted-fathers being an apothecary.as a matchmaker, soldo has also been given the gift of connecting to souls --- an ability used mainly for helping others avoid their enemies and find those who will love them. with just a kiss, soldo is able to see one's soul in the form of a specific flower wrapped in threads of varying colors and strength. by understanding the language of these flowers as well as the potential of the strings, soldo is able to tell someone whom in the world can make them happiest --- while also being able to warn about relationships that are dangerous or doomed to fail.
